why should you learn python

If you want to learn how to write a programming code, I recommend you to start with Python for many reasons, some of these reasons which attracted my attention are:

1- Python requires no "set up." A full python environment is already installed on every Linux and Mac computer, So if you want to get started with python programming, just type python at the prompt command line and go.
On Windows, it's just a matter of downloading and running a simple setup file.

2- Python is simple and easy to learn, Python allows you to write the same program you have done in any other language with much fewer lines of code. It is estimated that a typical Python programs will require 5 times fewer lines of code than a corresponding Java code.

 3- Python is an object-oriented language, just like Java, C++, C# and other programming languages. For people planning to become software developers, learning this type of programming in one area will help you adapt easily in other environments.

4- If you're a novice and want to learn how to code, Python has very simply syntax and will let you focus more on learning various programming concepts.

5- It is easy to run, it comes with a lightweight IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and doesn't need to go through a complex process of compiling and running.

6- Python is the primary language the Raspberry Pi is designed to operate on.

Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects, and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing, browsing the internet and games. It also plays high-definition video.
